I have a Blue Ray DVD player and the only output it has on it is HDMI. My oldish LCD TV does not have a HDMI port on it. It does have VGA and DVI ports on it. MY convert X to DVD software has gone from working perfectly to not being able to convert any file stored in the My Videos folder. If I try to add a file to convert it just locks up and CPU usage goes up to 100%. The strange thing is if i put the file in any other folder it will convert it. I...

At last somebody with a bit of common sense. Gas is only dangerous if it is leaking. so if it is'nt then job done. Or should i say competent job done.

If some body disconnects there gas fire and then reconects a new one and there are no leaks and the fire works, then they have done a competent job and are thus competent in this case. Obviously this does not mean they are a competent gas fitter and can do any work, but we are talking about DIY...
