My boiler needs replacing, I know, but due to finances :? I have been trying to keep it going. I have to repressurise it every night, to ensure it starts in the morning. The heating is on all day. Question is, does repressurising use significant more gas? The units I have used this quarter...

My "lawn" is not good, it was like this when I purchased the house. The ground is uneven, and the grass is like meadow grass. When it is cut in the summer, it is bald in places. I didnt cut it in the autumn and it is now about 6/9 inch long. I am not a gardener, and feel that it would be easier...

No they are fine temp wise, I just turn up the boiler, when it works :( Its if they would be more efficient new ones, and if im having the boiler changed! the old ones must be full of "gunk" as I doubt the previous owners have ever done any upkeep, if the rest of the house was to go by.

rads heat up ok, they are just old, possibly 20/30 yrs, and have no fins? if thats what they are called at the back, just wondered if new ones would be more effeciant?

If I had a new boiler fitted :( would it be benificial to change my radiators for new ones? The ones that I inherited are just single ones with the shaped front "waves" Would I notice the difference in heat and costs? If I do have to shell out for a new boiler, I might as well do the lot.

If I have to replace my boiler, I am aware that you have to have a condenser one. But can you still get them with a room stat so i can adjust the tempreture of the room using that rather than having to crawl into the bedroom cupboard in my daughters bedroom. This requires 10 mins of moving...
