Baxi Combi runs hot and cold

My Baxi combi 105e delivers hot water which after 30 seconds or so turns cold then returns to hot on a seemingly constant cycle. Would be grateful for any tips on what might be wrong, Regards Jack

Baxi 105e domestic hot water problem

Hi Sorry, delayed reply due to my only having fitted a new thermistor just yesterday. The result? No change I'm afraid, the water still cools off after an initial hot burst. So what next. Could change the diverter I suppose but maybe calling in a boiler expert would be wiser. Thanks for...

Baxi 105e domestic hot water problem

Thank you Geegas for your comments. I may have to call in a boiler engineer. Meanwhile nogoodatfaultfinding's tip to replace the thermister seems worth trying. Could you explain how you test it please and is the replacement a layman's task? Regards Attland

Baxi 105e domestic hot water problem

Thank you Powell30 for your reply. Ran the water for a hot bath this morning. The hot water light came on and after the usual wait hot water arrived. Then it stated to cool off but remained warm, not hot enough for a bath though. I switched the tap off then on again and the initial burst of...

Baxi 105e domestic hot water problem

Hi I had my 4year old combi serviced in November. Just afterwards we had problems getting hot water and our plumber diagnosed a diaphram fault and fitted a replacement. Since then we can get really hot water but the teperature falls steadily to being just warm. We get enough for a sink full...
