    as an aside on this ....the new light fitting has a connector block mounted in it for L,N & E....could I not just connect the relevant wires up to those blocks, then place the remaining wires into a connector block, insulate the block, then slide it into the ceiling space, rather than install a...

    This is a light fitting in the lounge, I want to replace this with a six terminal junction box , as I am replacing the existing fitting with a flush mounted light fitting.....can anybody please advise what wires connect where in the junction box?
