Well i have no idea whether you would be able to control it but a pressure washer attached to a long pole might work. They create quite a lot of force though so you would need a very stiff pole and probably several friends to help you hold the pole! It would amuse your neighbours if nothing...

But if i did that then surely the hob ignition would not be adquatly protected as it will require a 3A fuse? or did you mean two fcu's?
