ohhh, didnt think of that! I only ask coz the colour i want is only in the form of emulsion, not in a gloss or satin for wood & I dont really want to pay x-amount to have it made up as I'm guessing that's expensive. Which emulsion would you say is best for this? i.e. matt, silk, satin?

hi there Just wondered if emulsion would be ok on solid wood? its a set of storage jars that i want to paint. Not sure what kind of wood they are, just says "solid wood" as description. I was thinking of using primer/undercoat, then emulsion then varnish on top as a finish. What do you think...
