Hi Robert, We're just outside Cowdenbeath. Dunfermline is the BCO we have been using. I spoke to the guy who signed the warrant and he has also said to just let them know when it's finished. I couldn't believe it so had to get it confirmed several times. I'm glad I'm doing the work myself...

Just to update; Called SGN out. They were here within the hour. Turns out there was a leak where one of the unions had corroded. Replaced and tested, all good now. Thanks for the advice :D

We're planning a 6 metre by 7 metre wooden garage at the top of our garden but the ground slopes towards the house. There's a 80 cm fall over the 7 metres area. Do we dig down 80cm to make it level and then build a retaining wall at the high end? Any advice would be greatl appreciated, thanks!
