    There’s a feed from the consumer unit into an isolater switch on the wall, then that feeds the oven. Could you spur off the back of the oven to feed the hob?

    32 at the consumer unit. The oven is about a meter away in a built in cupboard (floor to ceiling) I guess the best thing is to run some 6mm as a feed for the hob by joining it to the oven feed? In a JB? An try an feed it under the cabinet.

    Just visited a friend who’s had a ceramic hob fitted in place of his previous plug in one. Paid £90 for the install and noticed when he turned his cooker off at the consumer unit the hob is still on. Basically it turns out it’s been wired to the kitchen socket ring through a 45amp cooker outlet...
