    I have done a similar thing at my parents place. it worked out a treat. while slightly odd there is no prob with this idea. If you came to sell later wont cost much to cover over.

    Thermostatic shower on a Combi

    Hi I have a BAxi 80e combi. I want to replace my electric shower with a Thermostatic Shower mixer or shower/bath mixer when i redo bathroom. I realise the Baxi 80e is a low capacity boiler but can anyone recommend a mixer that will work fine with this boiler? Pref a bath/shower mixer. cheers

    valve snapped inside radiator bleeding key

    Sheared piece needs to be drilled out with a small drill bit and the thread recut, then source a replacement bleed valve and key. Or new rad and?

    Take A off and Turn B a fraction with cloth bucket below. you should get a small flow of water from where A was. If water flows put A backk on, open B fully and try tap outside. if no flow here then outside tap is siezed

    Water company/board responsibilities?

    Hi The onderground pipework outside of your property boundary ie garden wall/fence is the property of the water supplier. The main street stop cock is there responsibility. Call them again and make sure they sort it out. DO NOT USE A DIY FREEZE KIT ON MAINS WATER PIPE Cheers

    Tempramental Vokera

    Hi Chris Have no idea if the knob breaks but it seems to work fine. It goes from HW to OFF/RESET and to HW/CH all seems fine. unfortuneately I have not been there when it has failed. they call me and when i get there its fine. I dont see how the mode switch is at fault.
