The hot water feed comes from the very top of the cylinder in 22mm. This reduces further down in a Tee to 15mm the other part of the Tee continues in 22mm and is feeding hot water to the bathroom (i think?)
Thanks,
No its not a new build. Its been like this since we moved in, but only now getting chance to have a look at it. Its war but not hot and theres plent of really hot water left in the taps etc.
Thanks.
Hi all,
Just moved into a new house and having trouble with hot water in the shower.
*there is PLENTY of hot water getting to the mixer as the connection pipe is RED hot to touch
*at normal operating height i just get luke warm water most of the time though on occasion it as been hot...
no definatley stayed around the 1.5 bar mark all the time. i vented the pump and all the radiators.
However the system is currently runnnig two less radiators could this have any effect?
Thanks for the info.
Drained it from the drain off point at the bottom of the pipe run and did everything in order so really dont understand why its started this dripping now.
Cheers,
Right...
I took the drain down option and have completed the work and refilled the system as per the guidance on a couple of other posts. The rads all get hot and there is no "banging or clanking" from the booiler. The hot water also gets hot. 8)
The boiler pressure is reading about...
Right Guys. hae been having a browse for this info but there seems to be lots of different ideas.
I need to move some pipework for a couple of rads so need to drain down the system to do this. :?
The boiler is a Vokera maxim 24 combi boiler.
so whats the best way to get the system...
So guys if you can buy a table lamp with an inline switch that runs from a socket. Can you make your own lighting for say a cupboard in this way with flex and an inline switch to a pendant?? :?:
