The top half of our house is painted but its peeling a little at the edges and needs renewing, my husband was going to wire brush the loose bits and then repaint with something like sandtex paint, will this be ok?
I don't know the thickness of the Trojan but I have read that its not the thickness of the acrylic but whether it is reinforced or cast acrylic that means it is rigid.
I've seen advertised a reinforced lucite 6mm acrylic shower bath on ebay, it says its is a 6mm acrylic bath with an 18mm encapsulated base board. Does this sound like a good one? or for about £100 more the same company can offer me a Trojan cast acrylic shower bath, which should I choose?
Can anyone recommend the Trojan concept shower bath? Are Trojan a good make to go with? they all seem to have a 25year warranty which is reassuring is it not?
The old bath touches both walls, one is the outside brick wall, the other a stud wall. Its tiled to the bath at the moment but we plan to retile and want an acrylic shower bath.

we plan on refitting our bathroom and want a shower bath, the ones I've seen are 5mm acrylic, would you recommend this thickness? I have seen a couple that are 8mm but twice the price. We just don't want the bath to move when we are in it as we have experienced this in the past.
