Ive been looking at ways of applying osmo oil to my new oak veneered doors and it seems the best way is to apply with a white non abrasive scotch brite type pad (i hear they are used in the automotive industry a lot).
Ive found 3m ones and various others online but cannot find a decent supplier...

Hi, im in the process of doing out or bathroom, we have 2 stud walls and 2 masonry walls, i will be using moisture resistant plasterboard and hardybacker in the shower area.
I have read up about the hardiebacker and they say not to dot and dab it, but to use mechanical fixings and gap...
I called the company who makes the tray today and they said an adhesive like no more nails would be suitable, as long as its something that doesnt have silicone in as this will let it flex. They said to run 6mm beads at 25mm spacing, surely thats gonna use a lot of tubes with a 1700mm wide tray...
it is just a totally flat surface on the underside and the floor is pretty flat too, do you recommend covering the whole area or just the outline and a few lines in the middle with a thick bead?

Yeah I suppose i could ask around the local garages with spray boothes. I have the space to do it it's just more the inconvenience and cost to spray it all, I imagened someone who is set up to do it locally would probably work out cheaper than me buying primer and...
