Going to attempt to tile a small kitchen floor over the weekend.
I've removed the existing tiles but they have left behind a fair bit of adhesive stuck to the concrete below
Do I need to either chisel this all off or cover it with a levelling compound or can I just go ahead and tile -- but...
Here is a photo - unfortunately the worktop is already in so can't get a newer, wider one without great expense . .
I'm thinking of a row of tiles butting back to the window frame, possibly slightly sloped forward to aid draining if/when water spills on them

Will the existing RCD be OK (since it is more sensitive anyway than the required 30mA - I think ) ??
If I need to mess...
Cheers for the reply
Some of the circuit (juntion boxes must be since I cannot find them under the boards I've lifted) is under laminate floors - is this going to cause me a world of pain. Will they ask me to lift the floors to inspect ??

I am looking to redecorate the bathroom which will involve getting rid of the 4 halogen downlight things and replacing with a couple fittings.
I'm aware that since its in the bathroom I will need to inform the local Building Control office OR get an approved spark to do the work for...
