    sorry, don't understand about lighting loop :-( 2-way switch also sounds complicated. on reflection, can i just extend the cables via conduit and put the switch where i want?

    hi - i'm new to this, but here goes......... i've just fitted an external double socket to the outside of my garage by taking power from the back of an existing socket. the original socket had 2 cables already, and from what i've read, this makes it ok. i drilled a (slghtly downhill) hole...
