Had a look at the PCB for dry joints and the problem has got worse. The ignition doesn't work at all now. I have ordered and new PCB and let a professional fit it. Hope it works.

I have a Glow worm micro which is 4 years old. It fires up and works fine for a while and then the burner light goes out but the pump/fan inside continues. Last night I just left the Heating on and the boiler worked fine. The thermostat did it's job and when needed the boiler fired up. The problem must be on the Hot water side of things. Does anyone have any suggestions why the boiler cuts out when heating the water.

I suppose if I take the board to any independant computer repair shop they might be able to re-solder the dry joint for me. What do you think.

Thanks for the answer I will swap my board for a refurbished board tomorrow and give it a go. After searching the web the dry joint seems to be a real problem with this PCB I am dying to try the DIY solder option but haven't got the tools or know how. Thanks

My boiler keeps losing all power this happens about once a month. The circuit board seems to be shorting out and when I move it the lights come back on and the boiler works fine. I want to replace this circuit board and the number on it is 21/18887. Do you think this will solve the problem...
