It's a relatively new build and it appears all the pipes are hidden in the walls.
I don't know how we could find them but even if we could the position of the new room would make it very difficult to get to the new rads wherever they.
I appreciate that may be what we have to do but thought it...
Just had a new extension and had two (1kw) rads installed in new room.
The builder has connected the new rads to an existing rad's 10mm plastic pipe tails.
One of the new rads is 5m away from the other and this rad does not get warm let alone hot.

Is this a normal practice these days?
There is also a gap between the end of DPM in places and the DPC, can this...

All fine, with good pressure, after replacement for just over a week then suddenly low pressure on bath hot...
This has all been very helpful.
Thank you all very much.
And half of the wall on the bathroom side has 12mm Hardiebacker so hopefully that's going to help with fire retarding too.
It turned out to be the original Rivius.
Sandtoft said it wasn't suitable for vertical hanging but their Humber in antique was and would be the same colour.
Only problem was we couldn't get any anywhere with less than two months lead time.
So we went for Redland plain tile in slate grey.
