Hi. Is it correct that no goo or PTFE tape is needed on the tapered part of these 22mm x 1" cylinder unions? And is there any rule of thumb on how much to tighten them? Any guidance gratefully received

My 10 yr old AWM321 dribbles water from the door. The glass and seal have been cleaned with no effect. Should I replace the door seal and what do I need to dismantle to do it, please? Many thanks.

The sound of aerated water can be heard mostly in the airing cupboard where it sounds like shingle in the surf at it's worst. The boiler does kettle a bit while the rushing sound is happening but that stops when the rushing stops.
