I have seen them resoldered.
You'll need to reconnect the boiler and app if you replace it.

All of the Internet controlled systems we supply are locally controlled first and foremost.
I use many cloud services, by it I sure as schit don't use ones that are essential And have to have a connection to work.
The cloud is a backup resource no more no less.
Cheeky :p... Not a regular situation this one. I only did the cylinder, boiler and controls. All other plumbing and whatnot is done by others - and done well.
Each pir wired to a time delay relay set to say 15 minutes should overcome this
Or a simple time clock set to an hour in the morning and 3 hours in the evening.

And the maintenence man wanted something he could fix off the shelf. Bear in mind that was 1½ and 2" steel pipe and the church had a phuk tonne of fan coils and old panel rads so needed a good old flue rate.
