hi mate yes i have had the arm out,itis a stainless steel one and all the holes sem clear.it is free to move quite easily with nothing seemingly stopping it.when i took it out there seems to be a groove just under the top which i guess may need an o ring but i could well be wrong.

hi all,indesit dishwasher not working very well.sussed out that the spray arms were not moving round. fited a new locking nut with seal to the back wall at the top of the unit and the top arm now rotates ok,but the bottom arm is not spinning round. so the question is how do i get it to go...

as i have said when i fitted the n valve it did work but was a bit hit and miss.the disc hit the switch which it depresed but not depressed enough all the time.i made a thicker one and it works 100% of the time as opposed to being hit and miss once again thank you for all your help danq

hi thanks for info disc in place ok and switch is fited correctly and works . the reason i replaced the valve instead of just the diaphragm is because i didnt want to end up on a sunday with a diaphragm that didnt fit an old valve,or as it was brass a coroded screw that wouldnt come out easily...
