thanks for sugestions, i have put fernox boiler silencer in the system which has quietened it down, so i'm thinking maybe it might not be the heat exchanger clogged, any other idea's?...i can feel myself having to call out a plumber soon...Damn!!!

HELP!!. My boiler is a ravenheat 820/20t fanned combi, when switching on both the CH and HW after 10 seconds or so the boiler makes like a boiling kettle kind of sound until the system is very hot then it seems to quieten down. If i turn the thermostat on the boiler down it also quietens down...
