I turned the valve that I put on the end of the pipe - a fair amount of air came out and then I ran about a gallon of water through.
The problem still exists...
I removed a dishwasher the other day, it was connected up with one of those flexible washing machine hoses. The numpty who put my kitchen in built the units on top of the joint where it attaches to copper pipe and left no access hole and it's right in a corner.

I think the only people getting upset about this are those that usually charge people over the odds for doing this kind of work - and it's hardly "specialist" is it? I mean we're not talking about the depth of knowledge an electronics engineers would need, or a mechanic.

Can this be plumbed into a central heating system that is pressurised?
And there is no smoke coming out now, but hardly any draw.
