    The thermostat is at the correct temperature (60 degrees c) - ive already checked. The first plumber did turn it down, and our hot water went to **** ie, shower was cold brrr! plus the pipes were still hot.

    Clicking noise coming from kitchen light

    Everytime i have had my kitchen light turned on for a while and then turn it off, it makes a clicking noise, off and on for about 30 minutes. None of the other lights in the house do it. what would cause this?

    OK - well the new sparky came round on friday and secured the cable - he also said it shouldnt have been left loose in the cupboard like it was. Looks nice and tidy now ALTHOUGH, and this could just be me being paranoid, when he has hooked up the cable he very slightly damaged it on the side...

    patchy paint finish - what am i doing wrong?

    I have had countless problems getting one interior wall painted to a smooth finish - obvious roller marks are present. I have tried the "W" painting technique, but it still looks patchy. what is the best way to get a good finish? I am using quality rollers and paint.

    correct sandpaper grit to use on walls

    Ive just painted my bathroom and one wall is all patchy, so i plan to sand it back and repaint it...what sandpaper grit should i use for this? I just want to smooth it back slightly.
