How do I work out what lintel size I need?

Does anybody know of an easy way of calculating what lintel size i need for openings in gable ends. I can't make head not tail of the calculations on the internet that I've found so far! 215mm solid wall, 1800mm opening for french doors.

Securing grid over driveway drain troughs

get a two part chemical fix/resin fix, you'll find them at any builders merchant or hardware store and you'll need a standard silicon gun to apply. P S this stuff sticks like **** to a blanket so when it takes theres no going back and a cheap version is good enough for what you need.
