    tracpipe for gas hob?

Thank you. As I understand the tracpipe has the connector to match with the gas hobs. Just plug into it. For a free standing cooler, people just plug in the bayonet to the supply without the corgi, right?

    tracpipe for gas hob?

Hi, guys. I used to have a free standing gas cooker connected by a rubber pipe to the supply. Now I am going to change to a gas hob on the top of electric oven. I understand I cannot use the rubber bayonet pipe but a rigid copper connection. If I want to change another gas hob, I have to...

    chemical flush or power flush

Does that mean the "chemical flush only" is not good enough? Or may be chemical flush first and magnaclean fitted will do the same job? Thank you. [/url]

    chemical flush or power flush

I have an old central heating system. I was told before the new boiler is installed, a flush (chemical or power) will be needed. Due to change a new hot water cylinder, I have flushed the central heating system for several times, no chemical, no power. The water appeared is clean. What is...

    vaillant or worcester boiler

I meant the score of reliability. Two best brands turned out as Vaillant combi and worcester.

    vaillant or worcester boiler

Thank you. THis is a very important point. I have all the old flat radiators. I have to stay with the open vent. By the way, I did go to the Worcester web and did the calculation. Based on 4 bed detached, one bath, one shower, I should use the WB30 CDI. I did not choose WB40 CDI in order...

    vaillant or worcester boiler

The house has 5 beds and is detached, 2 bathrooms, one shower. It should be enough to have a WB 30CDI. I just think it is better to choose more power rather than short of power. The original system is open vented, we simply keep this way to avoid any changes which may involved more money...

    vaillant or worcester boiler

No one votes Worcester? I was told that is good boiler brand. British Gas give £400 discount for installing Worcester.

    vaillant or worcester boiler

I have to change an old boiler. Which one should I choose for a open vented system (cold water tank, hot water cylinder, F&E cistern) ? Vailland ecotec 438 or Worcester Bosch regular 30? I heard the vaillant has a lower maintenance cost with cheaper parts. But worcester has difficulties to...

    new grout with uneven colour

Thank you very much. Some people had this problem and talked about the reasons on the internet. 1, The wether may be too wet or too dry. 2, some people think the percentage of water may be not right. 3, the grout powder was not mixed enough. Some people used the drill to mix it and still...

    new grout with uneven colour

I used beige coloured grout to match the light brown marble tiles. It turns out the new grout appeared with dark colour in some places. It was really disappointed. People talked about this problem a lot and gave different reasons. Obviously I cannot change them now. I would like to know...

    corian worktop for kitchen

I have to re-do the kitchen. I am thinking to use the men-made solid stone, corian or hi-macs worktops. They are selling on the web for £100-200 per meter(600mm wide). However, the installation fee is very high. I wonder if anyone has done the DIY to install them. Any advice is welcomed.

water pump off the cold water tank?

I am thinking to solve the problem of low water pressure from the cold water tank. My house has a bath with a shower, a shower room, first floor toilet, ground floor toilet, i.e. a normal house like everyone else has. Due to the water pressure is from the cold water tank on the loft, the...
