Thanks for the reply Steverog, However im not laying directly to the joists. I am laying on top of my existing floor boards and Im looking for an underlay to sit between those floor boards and the new solid wood flooring. Cheers

Have you considered a vermiculite based board, These are rated at withstanding tempratures up to 1100c. I will be installing these around my stove when it is installed next year.

Can i suggest turning the router off/on at the wall. I usually find this resolves the issue. I have a similar problem that occurs every so ofter with my netgear router.
