To turn off new type outside mains water stop tap - is it just a case of turning clockwise until it tightens up? It's a plastic round fitting which rotates both clockwise and anti-clockwise and sited next to a hexagonal fitting.

I don't have details of the complete layout. All I can say is that it's only started happening 2 days ago and it was ok before, even after the changes made. Any other ideas would be appreciated. :oops: :oops:
