    Rubber Mats

Just to bring you up todate. Velcro would not stick to carpet or rubber, Also tried a small rubber mat from Wilkinsons with pointed dimples on the underside (as suggested by a neighbour). This slid around more than the original. Might try press studs next.

    Rubber Mats

thanks ch427 and TicklyT I hoped Velcro would do the job. I bought some today before I read your replies. Got it from John Lewis and I was also looking at their press studs. Let's hope it's a case of great minds !!! Thanks again.

    Rubber Mats

It's a nuisance and it's dangerous the way that the rubber mat gathers up under a drivers foot. Other than discarding the mat does anyone have an answer that they've tried and tested?

    RCD Tripping

Steve I finally got round to trying what you suggested with the direct supply to the pump. After switching on and off eight times with no tripping I have to conclude it's not the pump. Could a faulty zone valve be the culprit? or do you have any other suggestions? Emgee

Bathroom fan wiring from junction box - sensible?

I thought that isolators for extract fans were only required if the fan was in zone one of the bathroom. Is that wrong?

    shower isolating switch

I have a gainsborough 950 gsi instant shower which has worked fine for about 5 years. Normally the 40amp pull swith is left on but recently a visitor pulled the switch to the off position. When I switch it on again the neon illuminates but the shower fails to operate. When the shower switch is...
