Hi John, Thanks for your reply. It's a VW TDI 2004. Any idea what all of the stuff on my engine cover is? Could that have been blown in from my Turbo pipe when it disconnected? I forgot to mention the water pump was also changed... I'll go and run the car now... Thanks
