    It's a funny one because the window has been fitted almost flush to the outside of the brick leaving it exposed to the elements.     In this instance it is probably best to fit the trickle vents to hide the damage to the frame and to resolve the issue of the condensation another way. There are more likely causes of condensation than having no trickle vents. Could you tell me more about the condensation? Perhaps I can help.

    Removing the casements and screwing them back in is easy enough, if it will help you. You may need to use a ladder to seal up the window after though. Using a ladder for this is safer than hanging out the window to do it. ADVERTISING LINK REMOVED
