Sadly not, it even does it when empty, perhaps it is the bearings that have worn or somthing snapped that holds the drum in place?

Hi, has anyone else had this issue with their Ariston Margherita? when it spins it becomes really noisy, its not something trapped more like it gets to a certain speed and therefore vibration and begins to bang about. I have had the back off and watched it spin and it doesn't move about that...
