Oh OK - yes - sorry - I was talking about the dual channel hub. I saw the programmable time switches. I wanted more accurate temperature control. I agree I have probably over engineered it!

Because I wasn’t sure how it would work. Both single and dual on sale at Screwfix for same price and thought dual channel might have higher resale value if I needed to sell it!
My first post in this thread. I wanted better control of a panel heater in main bedroom. Downstairs is heated by ASHP to water underfloor heating. Upstairs by panel heaters with no timing facilities. Space limitations meant I couldn’t find the right size panel heater with a timer for...
@ericmark - thanks again. Given a choice I wouldn’t heat with electric either but live in new build house with ASHP which works well to the underfloor downstairs but builders put panel heaters upstairs which aren’t that easy to fine control according to room temperature. This means we don’t have...
Thanks again. Yes the heaters have a built in thermostat. I have relooked at the manual for the controller that was available and I misunderstood - there is no temperature control on that as you said. However, my further thoughts:
The pilot wire is ‘dumb’ - it waits for a signal to turn the...
Thanks and meant to the model - apologies - heater is creda eph1250, manual is attached. Currently the heater is connected to a FCU. My thoughts- remove the wiring from the FCU. Run a cable from the receiver into the FCU to power the receiver. Wire the heater into the receiver - will a receiver...
Hi
I have panel heaters (1250w creda) with a pilot wire. The control centre that utilised the pilot wire is no longer available. Can I connect the pilot wire to a receiver for a programmable room thermostat?
Thanks. I have tried something else apart from the screw but it just goes straight in all the way through and doesn’t hit any resistance. Will try again
Not really a disaster but not sure where else to post. I have removed a tv bracket fixed to a hollow wall with metal wall anchors. When I removed one screw it was very loose and felt like it wasn’t held in place like it should be. The anchor is also starting to come out of the wall. I want to...
Long story but I need to cut this pvc so it fits an angle towards the window. I want to know the best way to scribe it so that I can cut it to fit square against the wall both horizontally and vertically along the sloping edge. Thanks for any help you can give
I am resealing around the tray as well. House was new build and shower enclosure leaked - builders answer was to seal every area - inside and out which worked for a few years but now needs re doing so I thought I would try and do a proper job and start from the beginning again, hence removing...
