Camtiles 888515 Concrete Double Pantiles Help

We have concrete double pantiles on our roof which are embossed on the back Camtiles 888515 and are trying to identify the colour and how much they cost. We have tried looking on various reclamation yard websites without success. Attached are a couple of pics which show one of the tiles which...

    Septic Tank

The concrete cover is in our front garden, I don't know how big a soakaway area should be but don't somehow think that there is one. There is a ditch which runs along the boundary of the property but it is quite overgrown and not sure whether it belongs to us or neighbor so have not looked in it...

    Septic Tank

We have located one tank cover so far which is concrete so it sounds like I should be looking for a second cover?

    Petrol Chainsaws

Thanks to everyone who replied to my chainsaw forum post, in hindsight maybe its not such a good idea - does anyone know of a cheap tree surgeon in Lincolnshire area

    Septic Tank

The bungalow we have bought at auction has got a septic tank, the property has stood empty for several years (so we are told) so we are not sure of its condition or where the treated effluent drains out to. There is no paperwork relating to servicing, pumping etc so can anyone offer any advice...

    Petrol Chainsaws

We are looking to buy a decent (not too expensive) petrol chainsaw to deal with some very tall conifers as we can't afford tree surgeon prices! Most of the saws we have looked at either have bad reviews or can only deal with trees of up to 18/19" diameter and ours are way more than that. Can...

Making good after chasing out from rewiring

Have had whole house rewired and electricians back filled chasing out but has been left rough and in places above wall level. I realise it needs levelling first but not sure how far to take it back below the wall surface and how to make good, what to use etc. Really am looking for advice which...

    Matching mortar for pointing

Thanks for your speedy reply Woody, that's a great help, we're not worried about an exact match as the filling and pointing are higher up on the walls (unless someone is going to get up there or look with binoculars!). Didn't realise that how hard you press makes a difference! Don't know if you...

    Matching mortar for pointing

Don't know if anyone can help us but we are doing a bit of filling on our house where a gas wall heater and plumbing pipes came out. We have been able to find some bricks which aren't a bad match but are open to suggestions but we are really struggling with the mortar, which is grey. We have put...

Adding a fused switch to sockets for washer and drier

Thanks for your reply, I am not sure what the power outputs are on the washing machine and drier but will try to find out. If you had a switched FCU and a single socket for each, would you have one switched FCU or two? Also what amp FCU's would be needed as are 20amp or 13amp?

Adding a fused switch to sockets for washer and drier

The electricians advised that as the sockets will be behind the machines to have a fused switch above in case of needing to switch them off as you say. If we made them as you suggest am I right in thinking we would need two seperate 20amp switches and two single sockets or one 20amp switch to...
