Yeah I will definitely. But would they be able to use the cable going below the floor to fees the new sockets? Does it matter if it's going into a socket below my floor or direct into the houses circuit?
I have a washing machine, fridge and freezer beside each other. I bought a mini freezer to put alongside them so had to move things around. I noticed that they were all plugged into a 4 gang extension lead and the washing machine plug was half way unplugged. When I went to plug it in properly I...
Yes and no. No leak from either valve just now but if I touch the small one at the right it will start dripping again. At least it's controllable. I'll try tighten it tomorrow. If that doesn't work do you reckon I could slacken it and fit tape inside to seal it? Or do I need to drain the radiator?
Thanks burner man. The large hexagon was loose. I could move it with my hand. I've hand tightened it and it seems to have stopped from there. Sorry, what's TRV?
Thanks for the response. It was initially coming from the valve at the very right hand side (the valve that's supposed to turn) but I've just noticed it's now leaking from the large nut at the very top closest to the radiator itself. Probably due to me mucking about with it since the initial leak
My towel rail leaks around once a year very slowly but a slight turn seems to sort it. It was fitted (professionally) about 5 years ago.
However, this morning it was slowly pouring out intermittently. Fully closing or opening it doesn't help it but setting it to roughly half way seems to slow...
Yeah cheers I sorted it last night. I took the flapper unit out (by twisting as you mentioned) and when I removed the rubber seal it had an air/water bubble in it. I burst it and turned it over and it not leaking at all now :)
I have manually pressed it so that it fills up even more and the issue still happens. No water is going into the overflow pipe from the top. Could this still be the issue?
For a few weeks now after my toilet flushes, a trickle of water constantly leaks into the bowl. The input valve does shut off so I suspect it's an issue with the flapper seal.
My question is can I remove the flapper without turning the water supply off as all water would just go into the bowl...
