What happened in the end re your bifolds? We are still v.happy with ours, still work like new. Recently noticed that Sunseeker doors are now doing even better ones with virtually no frames. 8)

we had wooden for 5 years and they were always troublesome - they didn't perform in the heat, the cold or the wet. honestly! what's left? we've also had pvc french doors and they don't seem to be trouble free either - especially in hot weather when you have to slam them home to close them...
