Advice needed for hot water feed to new shower pump

Not really considered flow restrictors, not sure how to use them, its not just a shower fed by the thermastatic valve, its also a bath filler,to be honest I have not tried the shower part (not finished installing that, only the bath filler so far) I have a few more things I can try. Will...

Advice needed for hot water feed to new shower pump

To be honest I have got to the point where I'm starting to give in. I have only just replaced the 22mm, if I go for 28mm I'm still going to have to reduce to 22mm to get into the tank. The price of all the 28mm parts will probably cost me more than a lower capacity pump, especially if I can...

Advice needed for hot water feed to new shower pump

Yup....looks that way. Although I find it hard to believe a combined 50 gallon CW tank can't fill up a 25 Gallon HW tank quick enough. Anyone want to swap a 1,5 bar pump for a Grundfos Niagara 2.0 Bar Twin Impeller one?

Advice needed for hot water feed to new shower pump

Ok, so far today I have done the following tests to test out some of the suggestions you guys have made: I turned all water heating off and ran off any stored hot water, so all that was present in the hot water tank was cold water, selected the "hot side" of the mixer and ran the pump...

Advice needed for hot water feed to new shower pump

I was wondering that, the water is very hot, I have turned the immersion down to 60 (it was up at 80), but obviously that only applies when its in use. The boiler has no temp setting for the hot water. Thanks all for your great help... gives me many avenues to attack.
