Hi all, i looking the resite and upgrade my consumer unit at present its in a very small cupboard space, and i want to move it to the cupboard under the stairs which is a distance of 3mtrs. Does the mains and meter have to be moved or can this be done by fitting longer tails?

looking to wire lifestyle pt170 control unit/timer to my newly fitted vokera compact HE combi. there are 4 wires coming from the unit a live and neutral (red and a blue) which leaves a black and yellow wires, there is 64v across these two! can anyone shead anylight on this for me??? thanks ps...
