I noticed that my Solidor has adjustable keeps along with the hinges. I might be worth looking to see if you can adjust the keeps a little. When the locking points are engaged, the door should pull into the frame a little tighter if adjusted correctly. I did this and it worked great.

On my Solidor comp there is clear glazing tape that holds the glass to the cassette. It kind of behaves like a silicon seal. There is then a thicker Black seal that goes between the cassette and the door. They didn't appear to use any silicon and it works perfectly... so far so good anyway. I...

Sharon, I don't know if you've considered it at all,but I would suggest a composite door be installed if you are looking for the best thermal efficiency. I had one 18 months ago from Solidor and I had to turn down my heating! No drafts, and looks lovely
