    that might be an issue with that plan then as the pipe will be internal in void and roof space above porch and im not having vents in ceiling as will look a mess cheers

    thanks for the replies i'm a bit concerned about plastic pipes but looking into it it seems to be used alot now, my mate swears by it and dont use copper at all now. never considered using 10mm i'd be concerned about flow restriction but would solve the visible pipe issues alot easier

    thanks again for the posts i honestly thought was just as simple as dig trench ...... plastic pipe = x deep copper pipe = x deep other pipe = x deep line trench with sand or xxx cover with x inch didn't think so involved just for the trench i knew the pipe side of it was way out my comfort...
