it's not so much that I don't want to, more that I'm not sure how to and I'm concerned that it might start pouring out water if I disconnect it! I think I'm going to get British Gas to try and fix it by taking out one of their monthly payment arrangements...

Thanks for the quick replies! Because the filling loop has always been connected I was concerned that it might leak if I disconnected it! I'll go and have another look in a minute and see if I'm brave enough to unscrew things... Any guesses as to the cost of having the heat exchanger...

Hi I have the above boiler and the pressure in it keeps rising to around 3.5 bar when it vents from the overflow. At this point I have to drain the system using a drain off valve on a radiator downstairs until the pressure is reduced to around .5 - 1 bar. I've been trying to work out whats...
