Yep, spot on!
Worked straight away; thanks very much.
It has made me realise I can't use the 2nd ID module I bought with the alarm - the second loop is going at the far end of the building, in a new annexe - I was going to network to it alongside the 3rd RKP then use the ID module locally in...
Thanks - it is on the expansion port because that's where it was before.
It's sat inside the panel so no problem adding it to the Network.
Will hopefully try tomorrow.

Just to follow up with the solution - which "Alarm Engineer" had already suggested but I glossed over it. :(
In Wintex > Global Options, I hadn't spotted that the "Holiday Dates" tab was called "Holiday Dates and Panel Hardware" - in there are several checkboxes for "Panel Speaker Tones" which...
Ok, I'm baffled by this one.
Installed new Texecom Premier Elite 88 a fortnight or so ago which has been working fine, albeit only setting overnight by control timer as not all keyholders had been issued tags in time.
It is an in-place upgrade of an old Premier 48, using ID biscuits 1-7. We...
I've tested the speaker this morning and I'm getting 16ohms across it.
The Spk+ and Spk- are giving me 8v DC whether the speaker output is active or not - does this sound right?
I'm wiring in an extra keypad later, which is near the speaker, so I can try the speaker output on the keypad with a...
Checked all those settings already, but presumably regardless of them, the test > speaker should still sound the speaker.
It's a 16ohm 12w speaker.
Is there a way to test the output/wires with a multimeter, either across the +/- outputs, or across 12v and + for example?
Peter
Everything went ok with the upgrade, including Hold Off whilst I did the swap.
However the internal speaker isn't working with the new panel - have the requirements for speakers changed between old Prem 48's and Elite 88's? Doing an engineer bell test works, but a speaker test doesn't.
It's...
Thanks, I googled "Hold off" and found it mentioned in the installation manual (Bell Test omit) plus another post elsewhere which explained how to toggle the strobe by shorting 0v and strobe-
(I wasn't sure which of the +12v and/or 0v I should be shorting to)

I'm replacing a Premier 48 with Premier Elite 48 panel this weekend.
The new panel has all the config from the old panel already set, but including the extra 50 users which didn't fit on our old panel (hence the upgrade).
However when I turned off the old panel last week, to temporarily...
It's installed and maintained by a UKAS company, which is what the Insurers require.
Currently, as mentioned, it is set/unset by timeclock - I wasn't involved when it was installed ~20 years ago so when the panel was replaced ~7 years ago we just upgraded it in place without consulting the...
We have 50-odd (or even 50 odd!) users to keep track of, and we don't currently have Wintex access to do so - though I'm pleading to get such access.
There's no way a single code will remain secure given how often they share keys with each other as it is, so it will need to be individual tags...
Thanks both.
I'd already looked at what our policy says - which is nothing - but I've since found some guidance booklets which go with the policy, that cover individual areas such as security alarms.
It seems we need to change to keytag setting which is going to be fun.

Hi.
My church has a Texecom Premier 48 (the old, non-elite series). Currently the alarm is set via a latchkey zone that is an external 24hr time clock.
I want to change it to use Control Timers and the "Time Arm Disable" attribute on latchkey zones (and other related features), but our...
