How to build a water resisting retaining wall

I'll take a look, but surely that'll just let water run through them to the cabinets inside?

12v Bathroom fan to 240v fan

Can't get that high without a ladder but you can see steam coming out when it's super cold I'd say 60-70cm without having measured it Normal one that flaps in the wind. A few minutes, probably 5

How to build a water resisting retaining wall

How so? I can happily put them as the main wall into the earth and do nicer on the sides we'll see.

12v Bathroom fan to 240v fan

Barely, if you hold your hand to it you can feel a very faint sucking of the air. Opening the door to improve airflow. The space underneath is enough, you can feel it on your feet if stood next to it.

12v Bathroom fan to 240v fan

When the room is full of steam I don't want it venting into the bedroom though. Our wardrobes are right next to the door. The door already has pretty good airflow too. If you're in the shower for more than 3 minutes the entire room fills with steam, which is why I am looking at the fan. I can't...

How to build a water resisting retaining wall

Thank you I will get googling! I thought I'd end up cutting back further than just the kitchen

12v Bathroom fan to 240v fan

The door is 90 degrees to it on the right Opposite the door are cupboards that get condensation all the time in winter. I've coated them in heat retention paint and then bathroom paint and it's much better but airflow is not great in there unless I pop the velux window, though we live on the top...

12v Bathroom fan to 240v fan

Howdy, I realise that there are a few of these posts already, but I wanted to be 100% before I started doing things! A couple of years back I went to change some weak bathroom fans for something better, didn't realise I'd got 240v instead of 12v I'd planned to leave it to my sparky but he...

How to build a water resisting retaining wall

Afternoon all So I decided (with the wifes' approval of course) to build my own outdoor kitchen. Since we moved in I ripped out a load of overgrown bushes against the old (kinda) retaining wall that edges the 2 tiers of our garden. It curves a lot and is frankly pretty messy. I use this space...

Old extractor fan 2-core New fan needs 3 wires

All very good advice and I have less and less of an urge to tinker with it! I haven't had the time to dig into the transformer on the wall, I will take a look this weekend at some stage, but I am leaning into letting my sparky do it properly

Old extractor fan 2-core New fan needs 3 wires

Spoke to my sparky, he told me to run an extra wire off my live and it'll work, but he'll come and do it properly in a week or two. Having seen some other bodge jobs round this house I've decided to have him check it out. Thanks all

Old extractor fan 2-core New fan needs 3 wires

So 1 is the opposite side of the room to the shower The 2nd is outside of the shower enclosure and behind a roof beam I'll check what I think is the transformer in the morning! The old fan had an overun too.

Old extractor fan 2-core New fan needs 3 wires

Hey, Skip down a few paragraphs if you don't want the back story! Long story short - we've had loads of little issues, mould in most rooms, heating wasn't serviced, mice in the kitchen/loft. Mostly fixed, the mould being my favourite. Ass clown vendor (AC) who we bought off clearly whitewashed...
