Hi Everyone.
It's been a while since I've posted in here so be easy on me if this question may have already been posted.
I have a problem with the on/off tap of my thermostatic control for my shower.
I believe that the shower is made by Grohe, but I can't find the actual part I need...
Hi Mickyg
So as requested I have checked the resistance using a Robin Digital Multimeter Model OM 840.
Set the switch to the following setting on Ohms and here are the results:
Switch on 200, result = 0 (zero)
Switch on 2k, result = 0 (zero)
Switch on 20k, result = 12.038

Hi Mickyg,
Have done as requested and used the multi-meter. Touched the two pins and it made a circuit.
Tried to switch on the boiler with the pins disconnected (should this be open circuit) and boiler still shows same fault, s10.
Still looks as if it calling for the hot water?
Help?
Yeah I have a multimeter, can you just explain your method, step by step on how to complete this test?
Just so we are singing from the same hymm sheet.
Thanks Mickyg.
Hi everyone,
I have again this morning checked for leaking taps and pipe work and none found, to confirm the control operation within the boiler I isolated the incoming cold water supply on the boiler and boiler stayed at S10.
To confirm the:
D4 = 74
D8 = 1
D22 = 1
D23 = 1
D35 =...
Hi Bunny,
No worries, can i turn the stop cock back on now and program heat only for the night or we will all be freezing!

D8 = 1
D22 = 1
D23 = 1
D35 = 100
Hope the above helps! Thanks Bunny!
Bunny sorry, what did i do wrong?
Boiler is on. Have turned off the cold water at the stop cock. have opened the hot and cold tap.
The boiler seems to be static on S10.
Have checked d36 and the display shows 0 (zero).
Have checked second pipe in from the left underneath and its very...
Right, turned off stop cock and opened cold tap till nothing, closed then opend hot tap.
Boiler not gone to S4, still on S10 although it did seem to go through a scan of S numbers but then back to 10.
Have checked the second pipe in from the left and hot, very hot! checked d36 and it shows...
Everyone,
Have got the multi-meter out and tested terminal 4, there is definitely 240v there.
Have pressed the "i" button and the fault is sticking with S10 which, according to the manual is "Hot Water Demand".
The heating is now on constant, stat turned up full (its not wireless) and...
Interesting... I'll try it.
Is there a particular way the I button should be pressed? Am I switching off then on with the finger held on it?
The diverter valve does move, it will centralise and stuff so it might even not be that?
So, if I put the CH on constant, that’s a demand for...
