Extractor fan Xpelair XIM - switch neutral true or false

I will go for the Manrose 25w from Screwfix...(cheaper than B&Q). Yes its 'only' a 25w,,, but centrifugal and 100m3/hr should be fine (ducting will be around 1,5 meters anyway, and its a bargain. Will just have a pullcord installed to operate, should be straight forward. Thanks for your...

Extractor fan Xpelair XIM - switch neutral true or false

It is a 'family' bathroom, but small. Typical old mid-terrace one, around 1.8 x 2,5 square meters. Im looking at a centrifugal inline one installed to loft.. budget up to £100.

Pullcord or switch outside bathroom for extractor fan?

Hiya. Yes most doesn't make sense. I've got an electrician doing the actual work, but Im getting the parts. I still need to know if a pullcord is good idea. Mainly to turn off the fan for night time? Or just the switch outside. Hope my question makes sense.

Installing PIR light outside - use plug indoors?

I know what you mean with looking p00. The existing socket will actually end up inside a new kitchen cabinet so out of way to be seen. Using the plug would allow me to just drill a hole for wire instead of needing do more damage to the wall. The height of the socket might actually allow me...

Installing PIR light outside - use plug indoors?

Is this possible or near insane idea? I need to install a safety/pir light outside our kitchen extension next to the backdoor. Inside the kitchen there is a socket close to the backdoor. Could I drill a hole next to it, take a cable outside to the light, but leave a standard plug on the...
