The solicitor is looking at the case for me to appeal to the crown court.
He has said if we lose we might get a bigger fine? And end up paying the court and council costs.
Do you guys think Is it worth the risk?
the 2 storey extension was done on the side of the existing drive (planning approved), which is the right part of the main roof which is new, and then the left side (small roof) is what the enforcement is for, we had added a dormer in the loft (planning approved) , on the front side nothing...
they have said pay £200 per month, thats still a lot, issue is i have is the enforcement notic which still stands and the upheld appeal decision, i am in talks with a solicitor as we speak,
im on the forums due to work as i work on the internet so can get valuable information from you top...
the extension in question is the top part as shown in the picture, the bottom part of the extension has planning approval, so does the other side of the extension including second storey of that.
I did hold my hands up and said to the court i am guilty to the offence and would like to resolve this issue with the council maybe with a revised plan etc,
I did forward a case of mitigation my fathers illness that stopped us in doing any work on the building, as it was him that did not want...
Also in the court summons there is a separate form where you fill in your personal details as in total savings and your total wages and whats going out , how many children you have etc,
Does that mean they are going to look at that and see what they can fine me with?
Or is this standard form...
