Hi, Removed this door frame as we are replacing the normal door with a sliding barn style door. What would be the best thing to plaster over the reveal? Could polyfilla powder be used here or would proper plaster be better?

Haha, I took your advice, just removed the rf switch completely and used shelly. All working :)

Had a guy in to install the lights just before xmas, and by default he is using these wireless thinkbee rf switches. I am running home assistant, so would also like to control these lights via that too, hence the shelly device :). The shelly does wifi/bt as well.

Ended up finding another very similar door that's more suited to the doorway. Less hassle since we can keep the existing width and just remove the liners.

Nah unfortunately not, all standard widths. I'm not too worried about creating a mess tbh, it's going to have to be plastered anyway due to door liner deletion. So it's just about getting tips on how to widen the opening.
