I'm know I'm showing my ignorance now, but how high should a pilot light be and can a plumber say the boiler should be condemned and not close it down so it continues to be in use?

Update!! The boiler man has been and fixed it for me :D I now have heat and hot water :D I have booked him to come back and give it a service, so a happy ending :D I remember frost on the inside of windows too!

Lovely and warm outdoors, not inside though me heating system is bust :wink: Finding it difficult to type cos of the frostbite in here :cry:

Plumber coming tomorrow :) Will let you all know the outcome seeing as you all were so helpful and if my frostbitten fingers can still type :wink: Thanks again everyone !

There is no spark from the pilot light to ignite the gas. Thanks for all your help, I am losing my fingers and toes to frostbite now so think I'll call a plumber :cry:

How do I remove the front? So I can light it?

Hi, I have Concord WRS central heating boiler and the pilot light has gone out :( Has anyone any tips on how to re-light it? I have tried but to no avail. Thanks in anticipation.
