Probably faulty sensor, or maybe low voltage at the sensor.
Test the voltage with a meter and you should get 12-13 volts.
If voltage ok then replace sensor, cutting each core close to where it is connected to the sensor (so as not to short circuit anything and you will also be able to see...
Hi,
I'm after an engineer manual for an ademco accord panel (square keypad not xpc).
I have found the user manual on ukpanels.com
Any help appreciated as all I need to do is reset codes.
I tried star and hash on power up (same as accord xpc) but that didn't work.
A lot of the user...
Take off the sensor cover again.
Twist together the circuit pair (usually marked connections n and nc)
Twist together the tamper pait ( usually marked both T)
Leave the power connected, so not to short it!!
Try setting again, it should then set, this will prove if the sensor is...
strange,
does the alarm go off straight away?
Do any fuses trip or blow?
What if the washing machine is plugged into an extension lead to another socket?
Looking deep into my memory:- is it true that the washing machine is an inductive load so the alarm should not be n the same circuit (if...
Prove all other zones first.
Start setting so when someone else walks into another room the corresponding light on the key pad illuminates.
Then you will know for sure yo are looking at the correct sensor.
Any other work been done on the house, ie carpets, new front door ect. that could...
the bushes are rounded, so go round the armature.
Slight sparking/noise is normal whilst they bed in.
My brushes lasted 5 years from new, now wear out every year, bloke at shop says this is normal.
What system you looking at.
1.Should be able to use normal line(ADSL filter needed if bt bband).
2.On activation will dial out so no problem with answering machine, as for dial in to set not sure, depends on make/how many rings to answer.
3.Should have password protection.
I believe my thermocouple is knackered!
The pilot will light until the knob is released.
Looking at the boiler and thermocouple picture, there is a connection to the pilot, a connection to the gas valve and another connection.
Where does the third connection go (looks like a silver disc)...
Could you get a beam connected to you alarm, either just across the door or the whole front of shop.
These are reliable and would add more protection.
May be pricey, depends how much you want to spend.
