Why can't twin & earth be run diagonally?

Hmm, that's fair enough. Maybe the right thing to do is get this electrician back as I can't see how else I'll tackle this as he's put it in a really awkward position where it can't go vertically or horizontally (and I'm not too skilled with electrics if it wasn't already obvious)

Why can't twin & earth be run diagonally?

Ah I see. I'll probably surface mount them behind a splashback as no one will drill into the splashback.

Why can't twin & earth be run diagonally?

I like the surface clip idea but the only issue is it's going behind a splashback, so I could just recess it in a bit hide it behind the splashback (as no one will be drilling into that) and I won't plaster over them. The cable has RCD protection & it goes to just a fused spur with a 3amp fuse...

Why can't twin & earth be run diagonally?

I've been left with a bit of a mess by an electrician. He came in & put a hole in my brick work (which I've now fixed) and didn't chase the twin and earth into the wall. I thankfully didn't pay him a penny & he's never asked for it (I think he knows he ****ed up) but he also isn't willing to...

How can I correct this door frame?

Wish I had a pic with the door on. Basically part of the door sits higher up on the left and then is a bigger gap on the right side.

How can I correct this door frame?

A joiner made a mess of this door frame, the door is a bit diagonal. Is there anything I can to save these without putting new door frames in?

How do I fill this gap?

it’s a cavity wall though so it’s hollow on the inside. Do I just build out the hole around the edge until it’s sealed up?

How do I fill this gap?

I'm planning on filling it, just the holes get into the cavity of the party wall so just assumed I should fill it with foam and then plaster on that.

How would you make this good?

He is coming back now but curious, can you just EasiFill over the wires chased into the wall?

How do I fill this gap?

I have a gap in my party wall after a fuse spur was installed I was planning on filling it with expanding foam but I'm worried about it getting into the backbox next to the plug socket. Does anyone have any suggestions?

How would you make this good?

Just need some personal opinions on this. Had to get an electrician out before Xmas to put power to my boiler as it was apparently being powered dangerously. But he’s left the fuse spur hanging. So I was wondering how would you make this good? (Doesn’t need to be perfect). My plan so far is to...

Builder never fit my condensate pipe, is it something I can do?

I was 8k out of pocket on my first home, as the builder did a **** job & didn't finish it. Similar story they had amazing reviews & was part of some builders guild. Ended up disappearing one day, had to get someone else in to finish the job. Plan is to pursue this guy at small claims court but...

GasSafe engineer won’t notify a boiler change

Yeah, he's registered checked it via company name, his name & his phone number all match to the company on the GasSafe register and I have his number. I wonder if this guy actually fit the boiler or if it was the builder & no he never filled the benchmark out. I've basically given him the...

GasSafe engineer won’t notify a boiler change

That is a very fair point. He did tell me numerous times he did report it to GasSafe but every time GasSafe said no but I do have a warranty certificate. I'll mention this to GasSafe tomorrow
