Fan comes on and stays on. If it ticks it lights straight away, but no constant ticking. helps?

Did you ever get this solved, as I am experiencing the same problem?

Ok the boiler is playing up! We have been finding that the boiler is running but the gas is sometimes not flaming. It can be resolved temporarily by turing it off at the mains adjusting the thermostat and turning back on again! Oh and the reset switch seems sticky? Any suggestions please?
