to fido, Thanks for you responce. When you say it's the brushes could to explain? ie is this easy to repair? is it expensive? and could anyone do it with commonsense? Thank you

what would cause my washer dryer to stop spinning? I have checked the filter, and the water does seem to drain ok. :(
